Medication Sent Out of Facility
There may be times when a consumer's medication(s) may need to be sent out of the facility. RTasks has a way to specify which medications have been sent and to provide a summary report of those medications as needed.
Medications Sent Out of the Facility

Log into RTasks and use the Clinical option list

Select: Medications sent out of facility

Select the date range

Select the Resident name from the drop down option list

Optionally search for a specific medication

Optionally toggle the sort order the medications are displayed

Either select ALL or one medication at a time to specify it was sent out of the facility

Once this is complete, staff will then open the medication administration service for this medication time and select complete. Each medication(s) will show that they have been sent out of facility and there is not need to select pour or administer.

If medications have been “sent out of facility” and this consumer comes back sooner than planned where CLA staff need to administer, anyone with management access can go back into the option "meds sent from facility" and "uncheck" any options that were returned. When he/she does this, they will once more be available for staff to administer in Rtask. Please contact your Program Director or the Call Center if this is needed.
